Dear BriSCA F2 Stock Car Driver
Please note the following information, ahead of the World Championship weekend. If you know that you will NOT be racing on Saturday 9 September or Sunday 10 September, you are urged to let us know ASAP, as that may open up an opportunity for a driver currently on the Reserve list.

On Saturday 9 September, entry to the pit area will be from 12 noon. Please do not arrive too early at the stadium. This will cause unnecessary congestion. This cannot be stressed strongly enough. Your co-operation is vital when it comes to close parking in the pit area. There are more than 100 F2s and more than 50 Saloon Stock Cars, to be accommodated. The pre-meeting safety checks will
take place on the infield. There will be three lines World Finalists, Consolation Semi Finalists, Support Cars. Please ensure you join the correct line.

The Overseas Time Trials will be at 3.00pm. These will consist of two separate 6 minute sessions, with all overseas drivers on track at the same time, to ensure all drivers have the same track conditions. Further information will be provided to the overseas drivers on arrival at the circuit on Saturday.
At 4.45pm, all F2 drivers who are NOT in the World Final, will be invited to take part in the Grand Parade. The driver must not drive the car; they should be stood on the car and be driven around by a mechanic.

Make the most of this; by waving a flag; wearing a silly hat; and/or throwing some sweets into the crowd. Saturday s format and progression of drivers through the meeting to the World Final and to the meeting final, will be detailed on the Notice Board. This will be positioned in the pit area, near to the pit gate.
Results will be updated as the meeting progresses.
At the end of racing on Saturday, it is acceptable for race teams to remain in the pit area. The racing surface at Kings Lynn is of paramount importance. The track curator will determine as and when the track needs to be graded/watered. It is likely that the track will need to be watered during race suspensions.
It is typical for there to be a number of post-race checks after every F2 race such as track width, carburettors, rear axle alignment, etc. Accordingly, a runner-up will need to be alert to requests at the end of a race, to wait until the race winners car has passed any checks.

Rule 228 and Rule 229
We wish to draw these rules to your attention. It is apparent that many drivers will be using borrowed cars. This is no excuse for failure to adhere to Rule 228 and Rule 229. Please ensure your roof colours meet the rules from the waistline up, the car must be in your grade colour, or in a neutral colour with your grade indicated on the top of the roof. Please ensure you do not have confusing duplicate numbering on cars.

In closing, we wish you the best of luck to all drivers over the forthcoming weekend.
